TabTrade — The Short Version
Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
His background matters. It means the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is preferable to a founder with no industry background.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade went the other way. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: forex, indices, gold, silver, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform this new, the breadth is solid.
Platforms
You get: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Both platforms from one account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform before, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. Many people find it more natural once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That would make the platform set when it lands.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not for most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
This is where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform run a much wider range.
Should you care? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is something about priorities.
Combine that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package holds up. Not many platforms at this price point offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
This is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It should inform how you think about it.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that works is your call.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade runs bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You deposit, TabTrade top up your balance. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.
